About

Tatiana Rathke is an interdisciplinary visual artist and photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky. She is currently creating work around connection, collaboration, and nature. She is focusing on the act of spontaneous intuitive mark-making as she becomes grounded in the physical making of art that requires the body and moves away from her past of only working in the digital realms.

She graduated from Bellarmine University with a degree in Communication and a minor in Art, and has worked professionally as a Product Photographer, Design Assistant, and Project Coordinator in Film Production. She is currently a Senior Photographer within a small creative team focused on appliances.  Her art studio is a haven for her creative musings and experimental curiosities. Tatiana was part of the 2018 Hadley Creative Generation 2 (Creative Capital and Community Foundation of Louisville), and is a Pine Mountain Collective member, LVA Future is Now mentor, 2020 and 2022 Great Meadows Grant recipient, and 2021 Kentucky Foundation for Women grant recipient.
